Is your child struggling to learn multiplication eg times tables? Children often end up playing computer games with some multiplication questions thrown in as an incentive. On Maths is Fun there is a very simple game where you have to beat the clock with the goal of the game purely on learning math facts (no squishing bad guys or collecting tokens etc). In my opinion, it is a much more effective way to learn because you have to focus. Try it for yourself at the following link. It is an effective way to brush up on times tables number facts and is actually addictive. In this case, that is a good thing. Great practice for Year 6 as SATs are only a couple of months away now.
